Looking at opinions of others, its easy to tell that most people were counting on silver going higher however as of yet it seems as though it has dissapointed. My own personal belief is that this is due to people speculating at silvers HIGH. Tesoro ( tso ) is a refinery that refines crude oil to gas and or diesel. A barrel of oil = 42 gallons . When oil was at record highs of $145 a barrel ( $3.45 a gallon ) gas was selling at $4.00 a gallon that only left $.55 a gallon to refine , distribute and pump at the stations. ( THAT'S NOT MUCH !! ) Now oil is at $114 a barrel ( $2.71 a gallon ) and gas is selling at $3.70 a $.99 spread which is a 44% increase .
